Day 12- slipped up on the diet yesterday. I worked 10hrs at the hospital, and my husband is out of town on business....which left me scrambling to leave work to pick up my baby at daycare, and I had friends coming over last night. We ordered....pizza!!! Ugh....so yummy. But bad bad bad!! Definately ate way more than I should have. Today we are snowed in, and husband is still out of town. So I'm stuck at home, can't get to the gym, and baby isn't into me using a workout DVD today :( Did I mention I had a piece of leftover pizza for lunch!? Ugh. I hate how once I slip up...I feel like I lose all motivation for a while. But I can't let this bring me down. Tomorrow I'm off work, and though husband will still be out of town, baby's daycare will be open tomorrow, I will drop her off early morning and go have a long workout at the gym....and get to grocery store and get some fresh veggies and healthy foods! Must not give up!!!

Day 9- Feeling motivated, I have lost 2 lbs since last saturday. This is how I want do lose weight, in a healthy way, not too fast. I have worked out 5 of 7 days!!! Very proud of myself. I'm finding myself excited for my next workout!

Day 8- Haven't logged on the last 2 days...they were my work days. I work 10+ hr shifts at a trauma hospital, and though I didn't have time to workout those days, my job is so physically demanding and consuming, that I think I burn more calories there than any day at the gym!
However, I stuck quite well to my diet. And today (saturday) I got up early and had a kickass workout at the gym, including weights! Feeling very powerful!

Day 5:
I did it!!! I've worked out 5 days in a row! yay me :) I waited this time until my baby went down for a nap, and I did my 1 hr workout DVD uninterrupted this time :) It has 20 min cardio, 20 min lower body and 20 minute weights/arms. The DVD has a low, medium, high intensity for each, and right now I'm doing low. I think next week I might bump it up to medium. I feel great about myself!
