Non scale victories...
1) the stairs are no longer a chore. my laundry set up is in the basement and while I used to be super winded going up, I now sprint up and down the stairs with ease.
2) I took my kiddo to urgent care today and sat in one of the chairs with armrests today and the bars did not squish into my thighs. Might not seem like much to some, but I remember it hurting and being super embarrassed so this is huge.

Making some progress. Added some gym time in and trying to add more vegetables. Hope to get below 250 by new years, then I will have lost 50lbs this year.

I completed three high intensity cardio/ strength workouts at a local gym this week. This was light years out of my comfort zone. Trainers lead the class keeping everybody going hard, correcting form etc. Squats and dumb bell presses, rowing, sit ups and burpees, oh my.
I am so proud of myself for going. I am planning on getting a membership. I know if I can commit to going three times a week for the next two months I will definitely get stellar results. trying to keep my eye on the end goal.

Slow & steady. I've made so many positive diet changes. I've been trying to eat more balanced, more whole foods, less fat and less fatty meat. My biggest accomplishment this week was attending a crossfire workout at a local gym yesterday. This wasn't like a zumba class at the local rec, this was a gym gym with fit people and barbells, and coaches. If I had tried walking into that place alone I probably would have walked right back out, but I had a friend and we continued. It was five cycles of 10 burpees/ sit ups/ lunges / squats and whatever else I cant remember due to anoxia lol. It was intense, but I did it, I finished, and I might even go back. My friend, however, has already stated she is never going back. And thats fine, if that's not what she's looking for then I understand. But, I want to be strong and fit, not just smaller. To get there I know I'll have to do the work. It's just so unlike anything I've ever pushed myself into. Here goes nothing!
