I'm here to GAIN weight. I'm starting this off at a very unhealthy weight (which the system refused to even take, so I had to use the lowest weight it would take). I'm writing this on day 3 of my diet, I'm still having a difficult time reaching my intake goals. I do not have an eating disorder (tired of people that think that), and am tired of being this small...once I gain at least ten pounds I'm going to start turning it into muscle...very excited to be able to fit into clothes that aren't childrens sizes..

Exercises to Gain Weight?
Just a little more about myself to try and help any responders. I am at a very unhealthy 73ibs. (my prof. says 80 something because the system would not accept my bmi, which is about 14, Yes I know this is BAD) I've always has a Very high metabolism, and have never been able to gain weight, but I lose it in the blink of an eye. I've had testing done on my thyroid, and it came back normal. I also have bone loss contributed to a birth control that I was on about 6 years ago, so that may have a factor in it.
My recommended intake to maintain my current weight is 1600 calories, 1900 to gain a half pound a week and 2100 to gain a full pound.
I'm not sure if this is helpful or not.

Exercises to Gain Weight?
Hello, I am wondering if there are any exercises designed to gain weight. I am a very unhealthy weight, and would like to exercise while gaining, but am afraid that it will be counterproductive. Any suggestions are welcome Smile
