Hi ! I'm a 22 y-o student, i have never done any program for weight loss before 2015, when I started my journey. I have avoided the balance for my whole life, but one day in October 2015 i got into one of those BMI-Calculating balance in drug stores to discover that i was a few pounds away from obesity. It was a huge wake up call for me and I decided to lose some weight.

I found a beachbody program lying around and tried it (Turbo Jam); i kind of liked it but I felt a bit awkward doing the moves so i bought another workout from Chalene (I liked her in Turbo Jam) which is PiYo. Since then, I bought few more BeachBody workouts (T25, Insanity, P90X ect) but didn't finish any of those.

After a while tho, I stopped working out; stressful studies lead to stress eating and just, overall a less healthy life style that had me gain a few pounds (almost 10lbs actually) these last six months. So I'm signing up in hopes that FatSecret will help me take control of my diet so I can shake off these 10 pounds and then more!

Search for local food
Personally I have set a different country on my phone, so that I can search the food more easily there (and it's easy to switch countries in the phone app, too!)

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
'Once a week', I actually weight myself twice a week, on two following day; and take the average weight between the two as my 'weekly weight in'. That's mostly because my weight fluctuate a lot and I think that weighting once a week is just as bad as weighting everyday : You just can't know if that extra weight (or that weight off) is just water weight or something more serious.
