Hello Everyone! I have been struggling with my weight for about the last two years now. For the majority of my life, I was always one of the skinny s. I was an athlete and ran road race after road race. However, when I was a junior in high school, I was training really hard for a half marathon and injured my knees pretty badly. Since that time, I have healed started running again and gotten re-injured time and again. Although I have continued to exercise, I have gained about 20 to 30 pounds and now weigh over 140. I have tried dieting these past two years and work out all the time, but cannot seem to stick with it long enough to lose the weight. I am ready to lose it for good, make healthy lifestyle changes, and feel confident and proud of my body once again.

Other than my weight issues, I will tell a little bit about myself. I am 19 years old and an going to school to be a surgical nurse. I enjoy being active outdoors. Some of my hobbies include kayaking, water-skiing, roller-blading, biking through the country, running, building fires, hiking, and pretty much any other activity outside. I have a wonderful family and am the second of four children. Achieving my weight loss goals will be augmented by time spent with my family because they are all very active and exercise in a variety of ways on a regular basis.
