10 days left in Phase 1. I'll try not to weigh myself all week. Training for a 5K all week (it's on Saturday) those are easy for me, but I've been doing a lot of spinning and not enough running so I need to get back into it for the next 5 days.
Started my boyfriend on Atkins phase 1, last week Monday. He'd lost 9 lbs by Saturday morning! Amazing! It motivated both of us to stick to it.
Finally tried the MIM! Awesomeness!
I also tried my hands at the cauliflower-crust pizza. I liked it but I think i used a little too much salt. I'll try it again tomorrow with less salt and less toppings.
I feel better, like I'm losing inches all over. I haven't measured though, cause I just had TOM last week. I'll measure on Saturday morning :)

I have decided to stay on Atkins Induction till the 16th of February. Making a total of one month on Induction. Currently, I weigh in at 154lbs. Weird considering I dropped to as low as 152 after the first 5 days on induction. Anyways, my goal now is to stay away from the scale until Feb 15th. Hopefully, I'd have lost a total of 10lbs by then and I can move up to OWL.
I did (Regretfully) have a cheat day last week Sunday. Went to Chili's and had a burger, with fries as well as dessert. So wrong. And then TOM came along...so all this must have contributed to my scale going back up.
Oh well, 2 more weeks, then I get to weigh myself again and hopefully move up to OWL.
I should add that I do have lots more energy! So this is good.

I've decided to actually make use of my FatSecret journal starting today!
I think it's important for one to record how they feel throughout their diet-journey (or journey to a new way of life).
I started Atkins last week Monday, the 16th of January.
Day 1 was pretty easy mainly because it was a holiday and I was home from work. I had also cleared my apartment of the 'bad' stuff the previous day.
Day 2 was a killer. But I managed to make it through without cheating. I satisfied my sugar cravings with some SF Jello and whipped cream. Yum!
Day 3 onwards were all good days! I managed to stick to my diet and also work out at my gym (spinning, running, and weights). By Day 5, I had lost 5 lbs and was very motivated. However, I decided not to weigh myself for another 2 weeks after that.
Today is Day 11. Diet is going great, cravings for starchy foods are non-existent. I'm still dealing with the sugar cravings though, fighting back strongly...and winning!
On a not so bright note, I developed a rash on Day 9 (on my back, chest and arms). I did a lot of reading and found that lots of people experience this during the first couple of weeks of Induction...once Ketosis begins. I will see what happens within the next couple of days. It shouldn't be anything too bad though!
