18 months ago I was working at repairing a floor in the home we'd just moved into. I inadvertently stepped on a section where the supporting battens were rotten and the whole floor collapsed sending me hurtling 4.0 m to the storey below. I had been trying to lose weight and spent a year on FS consuming only 50% - 60% of my RDA. I lost 2 kg in the first month then nothing for the remainder of the year on Banting. I've tried every diet under the sun including Atlins and scores of other diets and never lose - just maintain my 20kg over weight. With the break from dieting due to my broken foot I put on another 8kg so i'm now 93kg and officially obese. My BMI is 31. I'm now trying shake substitutes for breakfast and lunch and only chicken/fish/meat with one green or red vegetable at supper. This has dropped my intake to 30% of my RDA, but my belly just gets bigger and bigger. I had 10 sessions at Laser Lipo and never lost a centimetre!
Any suggestions?

Hey there John sorry to hear about that fall man, that's hectic bro! Glad that you came out of that alive! Your journey sounds long and rough so far, have you seemed advice from a doctor to rule out perhaps thyroid or other weight gain related issues? I tried Banting myself and it did not work for me, I too was struggling to lose weight until I found out that instead of lowering my calories I had to adjust the TYPES of foods I was eating. I cut out wheat, sugar and processed foods and suddenly my body responded. Your answer is out there bud. Keep in touch
