All along, the number of calories I've been eating and the number I've been burning have been showing a steady loss... 6 pounds for March since March 16th, Just over 3 pounds for April so far. But the scale wasn't showing it, and it was frustrating. I was just hovering. I was comforting myself with the fact that I wasn't moving up, either, but the fact that I wasn't going down was starting to be disheartening; if I'm doing everything right, and I STILL can't lose the weight, what am I supposed to do?!?

But the past couple of days have been very encouraging. Not only is the scale not showing the frustrating higher numbers it's been hovering at... it's showing me lower numbers than I've seen so far! SO MUCH YAY!

It was also more than a little encouraging yesterday when a friend who came over told me that I don't look like I weigh near what I do. I told her my weight; she said she'd never have guessed it. I guess being short has its benefits sometimes. :)
224.4 lb Lost so far: 3.6 lb.    Still to go: 24.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
