There we go, now that's the stuff!!! Yesterday I felt a little depleted...not completely unmotivated but close. I did not do weight training with my roommate, instead I went with my bff's teenager to see All American Rejects and their opener A Rocket to the Moon. We stood for 3 hours, and I think that might count as something because I'm a little sore today (so weird).
Anywho...I just took my first set of HCG Activator this morning. I haven't been waking up hungry, so I guess hunger shouldn't be my trigger to take my diet pills. Yesterday and today, my snacks have been harder to get down. I get this sensation that I don't want anymore 3/4 of the way into my apple. I can still eat my Melba toast though and why not! Its the only bread I get, and I still love bread!
Its the tenth of the month and my thirteenth day on the program. I've been thinking about how I eat, how I eat on this program, and how I want to eat. When I couldn't afford to eat out with my friends, I maintained a weight between 170-180. When I started to be able to eat out with my friends once or twice a week, I maintained a weight of 175-185. When my friends family schedules no longer allowed us to eat out together, I started having to go out with one friend on one day and the other on another. Combine that with a day in between with leftovers and that's 4 days a week of restaurant food. My weight jumped into 190-200.
I want to eat like how my mom used to cook for us. I used to get so sick of fried chicken, fried pork chop, and crockpot turkey legs. I couldn't wait for family night which was either spaghetti or pizza. Fridays I remember icecream. As a teenager, eating out was reserved for Sundays after church.
So, this seems to be a realistic way of eating dinner: Sunday - Chicken Monday - Pork Chop Tuesday - Turkey Wednesday - Steak Thursday - Pizza or Spaghetti Friday - turkey or beef hamburger, and dessert. Saturday - Fish or eat out
I like the coffee for breakfast, then a mid-morning snack thing. That might change from Apple + Melba Toast to something else fruit and carbwise. Same with the afternoon snack, maybe apple and small bag of chips.
I think I can realistically feed myself and a family this way.
