Wendy Armitage's Journal, 12 November 2017

Sorry for the disappearance - I went to see my family for a week, then I had to clean the house for a house inspection. So it has been slightly crazy.

Diet has been pretty bad of late. Just feel like eating all the junk food. I'm even sipping on a can of coke while i'm writing this =(

I'm still at 110 kilos. Don't have the motivation to exercise. Actually I have no motivation to do anything. And i'm more tired than usual. Not to sure how i'm going to get past this. I couls just sleep all day if I was aloud.

I gotta make an appointment to see my doctor about some blood tests. Maybe there is an underlining answer.
242.5 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 132.3 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Welcome back Wendy. For what it's worth, think the sugar in your junk "comfort" food might be causing the symptoms you are experiencing of tiredness, cravings for more sugar (and probably carbs too). I have developed a nasty disease and decided to drop the sugar (and a heap of other things). I think basically not eating processed food might be what is meaning I've gone from being constantly hungry (even though eating all of the time) to not that hungry and when I am, it's a stomach, not a head, thing. Anyway, I'm just sharing my own experience. The weight isn't exactly falling off me, but I have lost 5 kg over the past couple of months. I am not doing it to lose weight (like you I've been on here a while - thinking about calories and getting nowhere - no disrespect intended). Something has just changed, and I don't want the pastries, chocolate, icecream or cake so much. I just look at it and I don't want to put that rubbish into my system anymore. If I want something really sweet, I eat a date. And I like it. For what it's worth, I haven't been exercising due to pain. But tonight I did feel like going for a walk and went for a 20 minute stroll and it was nice. Whatever you end up choosing to do, much love.

I agree with "My Metamorphis". I found sugar made me tired and hungry. I'd have a sugar high then a low where I lost all energy, and was hungry all the time. I found after a few days of steering clear of processed sugar and choosing natural foods with lower sugar levels in them, I gained energy, and I wasn't hungry even though sometimes my tummy rumbled. I didn't feel like I had to go eat immediately or I'd starve. Hopefully your blood tests showed good results and you're feeling better soon anyway. 😊

Thanks for your support =) I have managed to get back into some exercise. And I'm getting there slowly.
