I am in my second week of Atkins and have lost 7 lbs. I am a 58 y.o. and now retired. After retiring, my weight slowly climbed. Guess I was just enjoying myself way to much ;) I live in So. IL and have two adorable grandchildren.
I believe my biggest battle in this weight loss is exercise. I have told myself I will go down 10-20 lbs. before starting to walk on my treadmill so my knees wont suffer. Am I sabatoging mysef by waiting? When I currently walk, at this weight, my knees ache at night.
It is my hope to connect with a few others on Atkins to support and learn from each other. I started at 202 lbs., want to lose 52 lbs. I have lost 7 today.
