Lost 900g overnight. Another big drop. There goes the rest of the sugar calories from Friday. Keeping it real. I can sense I might have a relaxed food day again tomorrow anyway for Melbourne Cup. Just saying. Psychic feeling there. 😂

Really, if I'm fitting my new clothes still, and feeling healthy, there is no need to be concerned. It was nice to watch those sugary treats disappear on the scales though.

Back in the 80's I went too far with dieting. Yes dieting. Replaced all my meals with a liquid diet in the end. Lost way too much weight. I think I went down to 53 kg. Of course when I started eating again my weight spiked straight up. Metabolism was stuffed, mentally I was not in a good place, and health wise I had a lot of issues with my kidneys. That's why I knew I did not want another diet. It had to be a new way of eating. It had to take into account my whole body including my mind. Quite often I hear people say their diet is playing with their mind. Mind games! Food becomes their focus. If that happens then it's not good for your mental health or your body. That's why I changed my eating habits instead, a sustainable change, for life.

I eat to live, knowing how my body processes different foods and food combinations. Understanding portion control. I don't fear dining out or eating while traveling. I enjoy life. I celebrate. I take care of my body and mind. I suppose it is a holistic approach to living.

Onwards and downwards. ❤

142.4 lb Lost so far: 68.6 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
