Today is my 1st day. I did very good today. I didn't seem all that hungry. I think maybe eating carbs makes you hungry.

Comments 
High glycemic carbs (pasta, white flour, etc.) digest quickly making you hungrier more quickly. Lower carbs and carbs low on the glycemic index digest more slowly (protein and high fiber foods)so they keep you satiated longer and you eat less (hence the weight loss). Plus, protein and high fiber foods help you lose more fat.
