I lost about 4 pounds in my first two weeks, was hoping for more, since they usually say the "water weight" comes off first! I'm most interested in reducing fluid pooling in my ankles and taking off the my overall pudginess...but my belly in particular. It's a long road back to the body I would be proud of, shooting for under 200 lbs by my next birthday...which gives me a little more than 7 months to lose 70 lbs (reasonable?). Otherwise, 1-2 lbs per week for the next 35 weeks would put me close.

It doesn't always come off right at first. This time it took me about 3 wks until the water weight came off then I lost 2 lbs over the weekend. Watching the sodium and drinking lots of water helps get rid of water weight too. I would love to see 200 again (haven't seen it since 1979)

Seems that the scale and the way I feel don't quite mess, so I'm trying to refocus my attention on what really matters...the belly fat. I have been up and down (too) many times over the last 20 plus years; I was able to get down below 150 while in military training, but couldn't stay there. My long-term goal would be to return to my pre-military stable weight of around 155...the 200 pound mark is a milestone for many reasons. The last time I saw the 190's was almost 15 years ago, after using Herbalife. This time, no gimmicks, no pills, just the basics...eat less, but better, more exercise on a regular basis and plenty of sleep and water. All doable...just need to DO IT!
