MJ's mom's Journal, 14 January 2008

Well I havent been to the centre forever so now Im just weighing in on my digital scale full clothed after breakfast. I think thats as close as I can get to the LA weightloss weigh in. Regardless it looks like I lost some weight but I think Im starting to platue. Ive been eating really well during the day but every night I seem to make myself wheat thins with cheese and pickles. I know its not to bad of a snack but I already ate all my required foods. I have a hard time saving my food alotments for nights since Im carb crazy. Hmmmmm. Im not sure how to get around this. I also really want to start running. Ive never been athletic but Id like my over all health to be better. I wanna be able to keep up to my daughter when she's running and playing.
151.0 lb Lost so far: 19.0 lb.    Still to go: 151.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.1 lb a week

the pickles have lots of salt, which makes you retain water. Try drinking some of your water with lemon in it, it's a dieuretic (didn't spell that right). Make sure you're also using low fat cheese. I found that Safeway has low fat marble cheese b/c I was really getting sick of the reduced fat mozzerella.

Thanks. I do eat low fat cheese. I really like the cracker barrel one. Its funny you mentioned the marble cheese from safeway. My boyfriend bought it the other day and he hasnt realized its LF type. He likes it and has been eating it. Tee hee. Yeh I will try the lemon and water. I do have a thing for pickles even though I dont think were suppose to eat them on this diet :)
