Munch's Journal, 21 March 2010

It's been challenging to stay on a weight loss program. I was ill last weekend and it took a toll on me; I knew I needed to rest so could slept most of the weekend in order to get back to work on Monday. I have a new job and it's been a month to adjust to working 40 hrs a week and get my meals & clothing prepared before the week begins. I spend up to 2-3 hrs a day driving back & forth to work so there isn't much time or energy to get a walk in. Now that there is some daylight when I get home, I might have some time to get walking after I get home. I consider the fact that I'm not gaining weight a progression instead of being difficult on myself. It will get better as I get use to my job and I'm looking for a buddy in my church to be accountable to. Weight loss is part of my healthier lifestyle.
160.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 41.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is tough when you have such a full load. I used to have that pressure also, but now I'm retired. I can still find sooo many excuses for myself. I keep in mind "Apart from Me, you can do nothing". I remind myself of that everyday. It's still a struggle, but it does help me.
