After a non eventful December I've managed to lose 4 pounds since the New Year. I've increased my aerobic work outs to 40-45 minutes sometimes as much as 50 minutes. I'm trying to mix it up and not do same programs on the bike. Also I've intorduced a few glasses of wine a week into my diet. Not sure if the wine or aerobic has done it, but my blood pressure is now near normal 126/74 on average. I don't really diet. I eat better than I used to, i.e. more fruits, grains and veggies and rarely do I eat out or eat red meat. Also my snack choices are much better. I either the do the 100 calorie snack packs or eat a 1/4 cup of raisins or nuts such as sunflower seeds, or whole almonds no salt on either of course.:o) I'm committed to this for life now. So it's not a diet it's a life style! I wish people would quit asking what diet you are doing. Diet to me insinuates short term or a quick fix. Diets don't work! It takes a change of lifestyle and one YOU have to be willing to make! Take care until my next weigh in!
