Serenitydee's Journal, 19 July 2017

Down down down. BMI dropped to 29.3 now. Rather stressful day yesterday but I dealt with each issue as it came up and so the stress levels didn't rise. Consequently it didn't stuff up my metabolism. So important to recognise when you're stressed and deal with it immediately. Before the hormones are released into your body and it goes into defence mode. Just take note of how your body reacts to stress. Do you clench your fists or get sweaty palms or body? Does your breathing quicken? Do you talk faster? Are you unable to stop doing things or sleeping? Take note and take action. How? Find an alternate activity to help you relax. A hobby, walk outside, read, a funny to show or one without heavy emotions, go out for a drive or with a friend for coffee, massage or relaxation exercises, music, whatever works for you. But you need to do it quickly before the hormones release. If you're at work take a 5 minute walk and then come back. Onwards and downwards. ❤️
