I had a cheat day yesterday for Christmas so I'm not really surprised with no loss this week. At least I didn't gain! I'm back on track today and drinking plenty of water to flush my system. I really enjoyed tasting foods I've cut from my diet and I'm considering having one cheat day a month. I've been doing Atkins since September and I had one cheat day for Thanksgiving and this month for Christmas. It gives me something to look forward to and makes for less temptation. Although, all the chocolate in the house right now is really hard, but I am resisting!!!

I hope you each had a blessed Christmas. Ours was wonderful. You can really feel the magic of Christmas when you watch your children's faces light up on Christmas morning!

I find that while I'm losing it keeps me motivated to have one "fun day" per month, but except for actual holidays I don't make it a whole day, just one meal. I'll make it a day when I get to my goal weight. If it keeps you on 100% the rest of the time, I think it is worth it.
