2nd day of no MCT oil and I dropped again (slightly). It was the oil. :( Oh well, life will go on. I won't lose much this week but I will still lose some. I've decided to try IF. The Leangains method of 16:8. So last food at 8 p.m., lunch around noon, and no breakfast except for coffee. That will be 6 days a week and I'll see how it goes. I figured it will take a few days to adjust so the minimum I'll try it for is a week and then I'll go from there. Time to hop to it.

I do 16:8 most days - the last two days, I did 18:6 and it was OK. I use Bulletproof coffee in the morning with coconut oil, unsalted butter and a little almond milk. Takes me through until I eat at 1:00pm.

Thanks HCB, I tried the bpc with MCT oil and I gained weight on it. I'll try the coconut oil with it again. Maybe I'll like the taste better this time.

It's intermittent fasting for the IF. That I would google. Bulletproof coffee is mct oil (or coconut oil), good quality butter (like Kerrygold), and a good quality coffee. There is a website from bulletproof to order the coffee and mct oil (brain octane) but quite a few people use a less expensive way to make it. Just take your brewed coffee and blend it very well with the oil and butter. It gives a ton of energy that lasts for hours. I'm not hungry on it for hours either. I use a personal blender ($20 with tax faberware version of the nutribullet)to mix it and it froths up nicely.
