Well weight stayed the same....and feeling I've been overdoing it on the fat in my diet. Yes, there is such a thing, and that perhaps my body is not burning it's fat because I already over-feed it too much fat (cream cheese, almonds, coconut oil)....Sometimes I tend to overdo things and then think it's the diet, get depressed, and go overboard on the other end of the spectrum (carbs/sugar)....so this time I am not giving up, just tweaking the right way to eat....and like I just read on Tuit Nutrition, if it's not working, make some changes and find what works for you!!! Stay tuned!!!!
151.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good job making adjustments! Let us know how it goes! I'm 1 month in and still learning and trying different things also!

Good morning..well I skipped a week of weighing in after lowering my fat intake for a week...not sure what went wrong but ended up with horrible cravings for sweets. Could have been the 3 snow storms within 5 days, but I was off and running and baked a batch of cookies, gone in a day, then moved on a chocolate cake with frosting, and then another batch of cookies....so here I be this morning with weight up to 156.4 and lots of bloaty jiggly belly fat...so wish me luck, back to trying to be positive and get back on track. I've been off and on this lower carb journey for years and I believe in it, but I do find moods/depression sets me off so I don't care and the short term fix of sweets gives me a temporary lift...Best of luck to you BGTwinMommy.....it will work!!!!

I also find that there's a personal fine line for my protein/fat ratios that I haven't quite figured out yet. Fat definitely keeps me from desiring sweets, though. It's possible that certain protein sources affect my blood sugar differently. Not sure why you were experimenting with lowering fat (you thought your weight loss stalled?) but it sounds like maybe you need to bring it back up again if it stops your craving for sweets.
