Your brain is just not connected to the body - the way people think it is. Your body - doesn't understand 'little cheat'. It just knows fats, proteins and carbs. Period. Whatever indulgence you had on Friday night was rather poor timing. You're just starting to get all the metabolic processes to work together with lower carb foods, burning stored fat for released energy, etc... and then you flip the switch back in the other direction when you throw off the balance of percentages. (hope that makes sense.) For right now - not forever - but for right now... it's much easier to choose to eat low carb, stick with clean healthy whole foods, and treat your body well by the choices you are making. Perhaps plan your next 'indulgence' when you are half way to goal. Set some personal goals that you will want to achieve. Two weeks of clean eating. Drinking all your water, every day, for those two weeks... then reward yourself with non-food related items, like a pedicure or a long hot bath. Something special for you! YOU CAN DO THIS!!! just need to re-focus on the future!
