Ri DUNK u LOUS!! There has got be a nutritionist or exercise therapist out there that can help me!! I cannot believe I cannot get any lower than 130. Eating the same..Water drinking the same cardio the same and the onyl thinkg about it is my strenghth training. I figured that I could keep my cadio the same with the strength training and still lose. I guess I should bump it (the cardio) up a bit..It is soo hard to get out of the bed in the AM to get a walk in. Iti s also getting pretty chilly in good ol' NC and that adds the difficulty of getting out of bed. Regardless, I am on the Phase 1 menu so I should be dropping..Even if all I did was walk to the TV and back to the couch....agreed??

No! It doesn't go so quickly and is not so easy for every person to lose at the same rate in phase 1, which is not stressed enough by the designer of this diet, that Dr. A. I see that you are down a substantial amount of weight since you began. That means your body will react to the program, but in its own good time. I honestly feel this way........we have to follow the diet day by day, but in the end is is the ACCUMULATIVE weight loss that counts. Give yourself several months and try to relax in between. I have had some difficulty myself, and am still on phase 1 indefinitely. After 2 weeks and switching to phase 2, I gained back some weight, so I remained on phase 1. Now I can eat, bread or those kind of carbs in a day and not gain any more. Good Luck! Think Positive - You are down 8 pounds.

My doc is very familiar and recommends South Beach diet, she says a pound a week is a fantastic normal, over time loss. I was concerned that I lost too much too fast that would come right back on. She said because I had so much water retention (i really was puffed up)and I had such a high BMI is the only reason it is coming off so quick for now(and I have stuck to this plan like glue). You are a much lower weight. The less you have to lose, the more gradual the process. You're doing everything right, just be patient. Everyone here has great advice. Hang in there. Youre really doing well. Your graph looks fantastic!
