Third day into my fast and I have gone from 192.7 to 186.5. A loss of 6.2 lbs. I am planning on another 1-2 days. Then, I will start intermittent fasting (IF) and eat between 500-800 cal/day for dinner and slowly build up to 1,500-1,800 cal/day. I just needed to get out of my rut of binge eating on sugar and could see that there was no end in sight and my weight was definitely ballooning. The fast help stop the weight increase and got me totally off the sugar and now I feel all of the bloating is gone and going into my third day of fasting I feel great. Even without any food I am still able to do my 12,000-15,000 (9-12 km) step hike in the forest near my house which takes me up some steep mountains. I am hoping to get down to 182 lbs by the end of the fast and then start the path back to a better eating plan. I eat well, but it is the huge intake of sugar to deal with emotions that is my downfall. I also know from past experience that it is very easy to go on a binge after a fast, but this time it will not happen.
186.5 lb Lost so far: 11.5 lb.    Still to go: 7.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
