My husband Murray has been using Fat Secret for several months and has been losing weight on a regular basis. He's a smart leader: leading by example. I downloaned Fat Secret on my smart phone and it has actually been motivating so use. I love the bar code scanner for recording foods. I'm concerned about the upcoming holidays and know that I'm going to be eating more than my 1200 cals a day. I think with some advanced planning, I can put together some low cal dishes/snacks that will satisfy my desire for "festive" foods without breaking the calorie bank too bad.
141.0 lb Lost so far: 3.6 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I am having the same issue with the holidays. I was originially going to wait until after January 1 to start back on my healthy lifestyle. But... on the path that I was on, I would have gained another 10 pounds. I actually lost down to 217 a couple months ago. Then I got stressed out and started making back food decisions again. So, now I am back tracking which is really frustrating. I am telling myself everyday, "portion control, portion control, portion control." Hopeing to pep talk myself into eating just my fill and not enough to feed 5 extra people. LOL.
