I got on the scale this morning without much expectation. WOW paying attention to what I eat actually does make a difference. I have also been making myself drink water. It is hard at first but the more water I drink the more I want. Now I just hope that the momentum keeps up and I can reach my goal with relative ease. :)

I am not what you would call a genius in the kitchen. Alright, alright, I really wouldn't even call me helpful in the kitchen. It isn't that I don't want to be, I just am seriously kitchen challenged. I love good food, but I need extremely simple recipes without a million ingredients. I have been browsing the recipes here at fatsecret and I am thrilled to find all kinds of recipes that are good for me and simple. Thank you to every one who submits these wonderful filling ideas!!!! You Rock!!

Have you tried using an InTak water bottle? It's a plastic water bottle (BPA free) that you can buy at Target or Walmart. At the base of the top, there is a dial numbered 1-6. Everytime you finish a full bottle, you turn the dial so you can keep track of your water intake.

Thanks for your buddy request! I look forward to getting to know you and hope we can help each other out. That is a cute picture of you and your son. I am with you on the water(and on the being kitchen challenged!) I totally struggle with drinking water. That is true what you say about the more you drink the more you want it. I'll keep at it.
