Finally going back down after a couple weeks of gaining! Also, finally going down while in Phase 2. I have been in Phase 2 for a month now and have not been losing, only gaining. I've added back nuts and berries and I thought that was all I was ever gonna add back at the rate I was moving up the scale. Here's what I think made the difference this week: (1) I started tracking my water intake to make sure I'm getting the minimum amount each day, (2) Cutting back on calories (one less egg, one less tablespoon of mayo, blackberries instead of fried eggs every morning, etc), (3) Exercising! (I haven't exercised the whole time I've been on Atkins, but I'm desperate to make the scale move and tone up the flabbiness I've been left with. I only exercise 20 mins a day, 5 days a week right now, but hope to build up the endurance to do 30-40 mins per day, (4) Less artificial sweeteners. I've only been having about 1-2 servings per day and the minimum is 3. I was drinking like 44 oz Diet Pepsi all the time, but that was way too much. I knew better, but the more sweet I had the more I craved. Now that I am finally losing again I'm gonna add back another type of berry and increase my daily carb intake from 25-30. Wish me luck! See everyone next week!
