Martina-Alice's Journal, 20 January 2016

Have found that by eating scrambled egg for breakfast, asparagus for lunch, and courgettini for supper, the weight is now beginning to fall off. Having read an article by Michael Mosely in the DM about a diet to cure diabetes, he recommends that people take in only 800 calories a day. Bingo! I've suddenly realised that I CAN just survive on 800 calories a day whereas everything I've read before seems to say that it is unhealthy and that I must have at least 1200 calories a day, on which I have actually put on weight. No wonder none of the diets have been working, they are not severe enough.
I've read up on 800 calorie diet reviews and many people say they are very happy on them and have lost lots of weight.
this makes it all so much simpler. In the last few days since I've been trying this, I have lost at least 100g a day, whereas before, I was just stuck on one weight day after day, after day.
145.3 lb Lost so far: 0.9 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
