OMGOMGOMG i ate like a pig, drank and lounged all weekend (partially giving up, wholly justifying it as "resetting" my metabolism) and low and behond 149! HELLS YEAH! :)

I pigged out hardcore too :-/ so I'm hard up for advice.
BUT one thing I did learn... LENTILS ARE AMAZING!!! They're super low fat (which is more important in the long run than calories, if you're looking for lean muscle, but you know what I mean) and you can use them as any kind of ground beef substitute. You clean them and boil them, occasionally mash them and DONT FORGET TO SEASON THEM! Thus far I've made lentil (vegetarian) taco meat, added Italian seasoned lentils to my spaghetti sauce, and made lentil lasagna. Pretty darn cool :)

No need to justify it at all! Sometimes we just need to give our bodies a break from our usual habits. And I bet you enjoyed it :) lol I've never had or used lentils...hm, might look into that...

Lentils are amazing- I'm vegan so I eat a lot of legumes anyway. They have more fiber than most beans which means they are very filling. When I make hubby a casserole, I blend up one serving of lentils and mix it into the whole casserole- he says it's extra filling and he didn't even notice the taste the first time- he just commented that he was really full.
