Actually I have lost 41 pounds since Jan 30. Only the last 21 pounds have been lost using Atkins, and I actually started Atkins on May 26th and my weight was 207.2. Didn't weigh in here until June 11. My average weight loss is 6 pounds a month and at that rate, I should reach 130 in May of next year if I can keep up the average.
I started a rigorous weight-training program about a month ago and it virtually stopped my weight loss. I have cut back now to a program that basically firms and maintains my muscle and I have upped the aerobics, so there should be a big difference in the amount of weight that I lose in the next couple of months compared to the one pound in the last month.
We shall see.
