Embarrassing! Started counting calories again yesterday on the My Fitness Pal app. I know fatsecret has one too, but I was never fond of it. Hell, I'm not fond of any of them, really. They all have their little annoyances, but oh well. Gotta get back down to 140lbs at least. Jeez. Can't believe I've put on this much weight. Weird thing is, I was down to a size 6 a month ago. What the hell? I didn't know the weight, but my pants are definitely tight now. I was sick for two weeks, and inactive, of course. Been having trouble getting active again, I need to force myself to work out! Going to be tough since I have work full time and school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, plus 8:30AM to 3PM on Saturdays. Gah! The stress feels never-ending. I need a vacation. I'm really hungry right now, so going to go snack on a piece of fruit or some carrots....

I really wanted hummus with my carrots but even though I just bought it on Monday, it was moldy last night! Come on!

Ok, time to quit whining.

So. For you do you think its more of workouts or eating? I've mantained my weight by controlling foods. Workouts are not very often but I am a busy person. I am active w/ my kids, with cleaning, with whatever I can get in. You are very busy with school, I am sure your mind is on that more than on foods?

I eat mostly healthy things so I don't think it's that, USUALLY. I think it was just a stressful few weeks where I was burned out and lazy and ate bad because I had a "screw it all" attitude. But, I'm over it. I felt like crap, I'm getting back on track and already feel better. Definitely sleeping better.

You know working out and eating right is the ultimate thing to make you feel better. So get on it. As for the foods, I ask because I think you of all ppl take a lot of time to prepare your foods (being vegan?/vegatarian) and I think you already know (by fb post) that it doesn't always mean its the healthiest. Even if it is, we can over eat that. So learn to control you portions on the bad, and drink you water and the days we are in 'screw it' mode it still comes naturally.

Yeah, I know. Like I said, I was sick for two weeks, then had a "screw it" episode after an exhausting summer term where I just wanted to be lazy for a change. Lol. Shame on me! I know vegan doesn't = healthy, but when I'm not lazy I make an effort to eat healthy stuff over junky stuff. I just lost it for a while. Time to get back on track. Well, I got back on track a few days ago, but time to STAY on track again. Ha!
