Rowed a thirty minute class last night, my upper back is sore today, so I know I hit the right spots. Lesson from the past few days, solo rowing doesn’t work for me, even with TV. Interactive/guided session is what lights the fire under my butt. 🔥 🍑

I’m taking Friday off! Working hard to get there, but I feel like I can see the light. Need a long weekend for so many reasons.

Puppy class last night, snuck in the rowing and a little extra, I can burn 194 calories in 30 minutes rowing, so I’m going to try and push that up to an hour gradually. Goal for the weekend is two swims.

No pics today, busy. Feeling good even though it’s taken me until past 1 to even log. Onwards!

I can completely understand that sentiment ☺️. I also think that I would benefit me if I had an interactive kind of situation. I'm currently trying to engage a few of my friends to go to the gym with me. Not only would it provide me with a ride which would be helpful, but also provide with the additional get up and go that it would be boosted by having another person there preventing me from backing out or allowing me to give into fatigue issues. After all I never allow myself to give in to fatigue at work only after I come home do I ever allow myself any kind of kindness in that way so I think that if I had someone else to compare myself too or if I felt obligated to in any way that I would always show up. I'm very community minded and if I had someone else that I felt obligated to that I wouldn't be able to back out whereas if I'm at home I can always say "well I have chores to get to, or I need to help the kids, or somebody needs attention, I'll get to it later/tomorrow" making it easier to put off my well-being until later.

I used to work out with a friend before work at the company gym. It was great for a while, but then she got lazy and showed up later and later. Take a class where you have to sign up and pay if you miss to establish your habit. I should clarify that my “classes” are streamed on the TV, but I have someone telling me what to do and choosing the music. That’s what makes effective it for me.

Although I'm not against TV classes I'm not successful trying to exercise around the kiddos 😞. They are super cute and are just trying to participate and I love getting them involved in exercise, but it ends up that they always using me as a jungle gym if I'm doing things like planks literally sitting on my back. Hanging on me if I'm trying to lift hand weights like little monkeys also cute but not practical for form or for use have to weights themselves. Asking to use the equipment so I worry for their safety 🦺 (ages 4 and 6 3/4's) and the safety of furniture like the tv. I think I would be more successful outside the house and it would be nice to have adult company for once not that I don't like hanging out with my kids but you can only have so many conversations about Bluey (great show) before your done. 😊 I still workout at home I would like to do more then what I'm doing now

Oh no, I’m just saying what I use. I no longer work in an office, so I don’t go to that gym anymore.

If it wasn't for the cute little monkeys that would attack me it's a lot more elegant of a solution for some would have my income bracket and transportation issues honestly. I value your suggestion I just don't think that it would work for me at this time. I wish that I was able to upload videos because I would totally try to take a video for you I think you would really have a hoot watching it and perhaps the others would as well it's really quite comical if you aren't the one and being attacked. I'm sure you've seen me refer to the children as goblins before and for those who have never been attacked by some cute small children they may take offense to that term but really if you were to see the mobbing you would understand the term is both loving and affectionate as well as accurate. I guess they're kind of like Great Dane or Greyhound puppies when they're trying to play with you. For those of you dog lovers. It would be very appropriate and similar.

I wish I could get into rowing. It's such good exercise! I get bored...I applaud you! How are doggies doing in puppy classes? Are they getting it? Have a great Easter!🩷
