Interesting, blob is being super stubborn this week and refuses to back off. Should be closer to 63. Did a longer walk, 3.87miles yesterday, but need to adjust the food back to veggies. Apparently adding tortellini pasta to soup isn’t the same as eating soup - who knew? I thought soup was just magic and had no calories. So disappointing. Cough is almost gone, the crap in my chest feels less heavy, if that makes sense, and other than sleeping a lot, I feel pretty good last two days and upped my workouts.

Not really changing anything for the new year, just reverting back to what I was doing as far as the amount of movement and back to veggies and protein. I have some challenges I’m going to do for myself, but not really anything to report here unless I’m logging it like the swims. I cannot wait to swim again but the cold air and breathing hard is a no go right now unless we have a warm day. I did do a couple 19 minute miles yesterday which is much more in line with normal, so happy with that. I think my worst was around 36 minutes and that one whupped my butt big time.

I can’t believe that we’re almost done with 2023. Doing small scale NYE with friends and paella now that I sound human again. I have a ton of cleaning to do because there is white dog hair everywhere. The other change is that I’m going to try and walk only in daylight or when there are people out and no more local canyon hikes without another adult human with me. I don’t know how that’s going to work out.

Alright, I need to check the work machine and then get back to things. Weekend rules this week, enjoy the day. Press on, press on.
