A tale of two scales this morning, going with this one since it captured all of the data and the other only did weight and BMI. Someone needs to RTFM. The new scale is reading all over the place, I need to find a safe flat place so we can rebaseline. 3 lb swing on three different measurements. Since i wasn’t feeling fluffy, got on the old one and it’s being consistent. I will continue to play mind games for a few more days until I figure it all out.

Taking a few minutes out of a cluster of a day/week/month/year to note that it is almost over. Big reorg, new org, new boss, possibly a new role. Have to say it’s been one of the roughest and not the most funnest year evar. That said, I survived, get a new start and since they “forgot” to include my entire group in the holiday party invites, bought myself a new toy for the retirement gym with my fitness allowance. Wasn’t going to do it, but decided to at the last minute. Will share once it arrives. I already have holiday stuff to do every weekend for the rest of the year, so it’s okay, but not cool.

Skipping over the rest of my negative feelings for the week. Blob down, muscle holding, water is okay. Long walk last night, nice night, no fog when we went. Will try and drag the dogs into the canyon this weekend, but going to put a harness on Lili in addition to her collar because one fall into a cactus patch is enough for one lifetime.

Enough for now. I have some data projects I want to do this weekend in addition to the holiday stuff. It’s a nice day, going to skip groceries this afternoon and wander with the pups once I’m actually done with work.

Can’t get the pic i want to upload, so will go with this one. I’ll walk down that street this weekend and do better.

That's some impressive decorating! I have to recalibrate my scale every time I move it. Nice drop & hope next year is MUCH better. (that reminds me, I need to buy champagne). 💚💜💛

Made some progress. I have found a stable location for the scale and get the same number if I stand on it a few times in a few minutes. It’s weighing me slightly heavier, but I don’t really care about that. Still learning the functions, and I’m going to give them a B- there. They seem to be keen on selling me an app, I’m not really interested. One of the things it does do is pull data from my Apple Watch and graph it. My sleep this past week has been garbage, so I will work on that. Keeping the old one for now for comparison.
