craftykathy1602's Journal, 13 April 2015

Well that was a better weigh in than I expected ! Only added 2 kg after thoroughly enjoying a week and a half off dieting for Easter, and 3 weeks off exercising due to injury and a cold. Now ready to get back to following the plan. (I find I perform better in the long run with my results and commitment when I deliberately allow myself some holidays :)
The rule in our house is junk food only in the holidays, so still going to enjoy this last week with the kids, but with a lot more restraint, then back to 100% effort when school goes back next week. Should be fully up to speed for exercise again by then, and sport resumes as well.

Hope all my buddies had a lovely Easter!

Hope you had a great Easter too :-) 1.5kg isn't bad at all especially seeing as you were already out of action before the hols even began. I think your right about having some of what I call 'slack time' it really shows you your boundaries and limitations and can help to set you back on the right track. Take it easy on the exercise at first, I had 3 days off it over Easter and it took me over a week to get back to it properly because of various niggles and aches...it's amazing how quick you can lose it when you stop for a while isn't it?
