It started with the notion of hiking the canyon. No biggie, did it all the time previously, never any drama. Smaller dogs, they’re good, easy peasy. Wrong. Lili was a complete brat, ended up dragging me into some brush, including substantial cactus. Thankfully was wearing jeans and had a jacket wrapped around my waist which saved me from being stabbed too much. There is a hole in my shin and one on my finger this morning. Got a ton of stuff down my shirt and stuck in my hair, so of course after we reverted to a normal walk through the neighborhood I saw a ton of people I haven’t seen forever and didn’t realize what a sight i was. Oh well, life goes on and do did the walk. Got invited in to a party at the Halloween house with a great band, but the dogs were not into the music and i didn’t feel comfortable going back alone without BF. Next year, or maybe holiday parties. I’m no longer interested in the ones from work since we’re scattered across the country and my local teams aren’t really people I work with directly. But that’s looming, I guess. 🤣 A couple miles later, i saw this person who looked familiar and when i said a random name that popped into my head - it was right!!! You look great, life is good, blah blah blah, then when I got home I realized just how much leaves, twigs and other stuff I had to comb out of my hair so she probably thinks I’m a legit crazy hermit dog hoarding person now. At least the dogs looked clean and were well behaved.

Anyways, working yesterday upset the weekend balance so need to do all the Saturday morning stuff now. Blob down, muscle up, water meh. More adventures to follow. Chance and Lili plotting my demise. Summer wondering what the heck even happened. No selfies. You have to rely on my narrative today.

Yikes & ouch! That feeling when you encounter someone & have a normal conversion, then get home, look in a mirror & realize you looked anything but normal. Hahaha! But, what a great story you gave them to tell.

😂 Wow! What a story! Yeah anytime I go in public not at my best I always run into people I haven't seen in a while. Hope your injuries heal soon. You are a great story teller.
