Pizza pizza stays with ya. Walked 1.5 miles each way with the dogs. They were so good and there were two police officers there eating their dinner and they said they were remarkably well behaved. They both petted them after they finished eating. We got home and the dogs trashed the house once again per their usual schedule. Sigh. That said, i enjoy the chaos. Keeps me distracted from missing the others.

Walked by one of my favorite dive bars of days gone by. building mysteriously caught fire mid-plague. Tis no more. They demo’d it down in three days once the blue fence of death appeared. Gonna miss you, Hamilton’s. It was once the longest running bar in San Diego. You just can’t recreate that kind of ambience.

Swam after work, I’m staying in the lower two zones consistently and need to turn it up. Going to swim a full hour today, i hope, and will turn it up after that. 870 strokes, 10.4 METs, so i am working, i could just work harder.

I am sitting outside with the birds and the fountain. No hummingbirds have really been visiting the feeders because of all the rain we had this past winter, so i took them down for now. They are in the yard because i have been finding a ton of their feathers in the fountain. My little cloissoné jar is almost full. Never thought I’d get to that point, but i still consider each one a little treasure and the iridescent ones are magic.

Steady today, blob down a notch. Muscle is holding and I am feeling pretty strong. Going to be lifting a lot of heavy stuff today getting it out to the curb. Arm isn’t bothering me as much, so that’s good. I should take some back pics immediately after a swim one day to document the new project. Shoulders have always been pretty good. Can’t say whether I’ll post here or not. Not shame, just modesty at some level. Depends on how much contortion is required and if i feel like it’s tasteful or not.

Time to get off my butt and do some yard work before it gets hot. Never ends, but I’m grateful to have the space to myself. So many ADUs going in these days. Walked by a ton last night in another part of our old neighborhood. Just sad.
