Yay for 2 more pounds! The only thing that held me back from losing more was because it was my TOM this week, so I retained some water. Plus, I had quite a bit of cravings for those Atkins sweets (it was the chocolate), so I consumed WAY more than my allotted 3 servings of artificial sweeteners a day, but all that aside, I still had a loss for the week, so I can't complain too much. I really need to stay away from those one liters of diet soda, well, really any diet carbonated artificially sweetened drink because they supposedly make you hold onto weight too. Also, idk if these are having an impact and slowing the weight loss, but I've started consuming 5 hr energy shots a couple times a week. I've heard that the excess caffeine can slow weight loss. I have still been losing, but it's at a snail's pace compared to how much I was losing before. So, idk. I may go off of them for a week and see what happens.

John had some Americone Dream ice cream this week, and man it was so hard to resist. It's easy to resist when I don't see it, but it'd been a while since he'd eaten it in front of me, so I had a tough time. But, I'm proud to say that I didn't cave. :) The only other major temptation that I almost caved into this week was when I was making John's lunch for work (a PB&J sandwich. It'd been so long since I'd had peanut butter, much less jelly, so I was soooo tempted to just lick my fingers; just to get the taste. But, I knew that if I did that I would just want to take whole spoonfuls of the stuff. So, I did NOT lick my fingers; such restraint.

I definitely thought it was supposed to get easier this far along, but I have really been craving sweets a lot. I think it's because I see so much of it at work. People are CONSTANTLY buying junk food; coworkers and customers. Snack cakes, cookies, candy bars, Easter candy, you name it, they buy it and eat it. But, I haven't caved yet. I just walk down the baking isle and smell the sugar. It sounds horrible. It makes my stomach growl. But, I resist the urge. One cheat day since November 1, 2014. Down a total of 33 lbs; if I've made it this far, then I can keep going.

PS - I now comfortably wear a size 14/32!! Down from a size 18 on the verge of 20. Not quite halfway to a size 6, but I'm getting closer. I love the feeling of wearing skinny jeans. AND, I was able to buy clothes from the REGULAR clothes section of JC Penney instead of the plus size dept. Man, did that feel good. I actually fit into a regular size XL (women's) now, instead of a 1X or 2X. I'm just shooting for size M. With my frame I doubt I'll ever be able to fit into a small, but I'd def be happy with a medium.
