Sunday slow day. Doing some stuff around the house, including hanging the mirror back onto the medicine cabinet. Looked at just replacing it, but everything they had was either cheap plastic or well over $250. Since i already need a new faucet for the kitchen, which will be another day, i decided to fix the cabinet i have. Days like this I’m thankful for my stubborn genes from my dad. I’ll look around online at some point and replace it - or not. The only thing I have to do is drill two new holes in some stainless steel to match the new hinge. It fits, but the previous holes are about 3/8” off - because of course they are.

My game plan with the girls is to walk them around the immediate block, drop them off and continue with Chance on extended walks. He has crazy puppy energy and tends to act out when he doesn’t get enough exercise. That’s mental and physical. This morning, he jumped into the middle of my clean laundry on the bed, grabbed a bra and tore out of the house wanting me to chase - which i did. those things are hella expensive and not a chew toy. Thankfully, he’s also a big mush baby so once i retrieved the lingerie, i let him live and even fed him some breakfast. I guess the baby gates stay awhile longer. he also loves to jump onto the bed and toss all the pillows off.

Going to try and swim this afternoon. No idea if I’ll be able to or not. There are things i can and cannot do. Carry a gallon of milk - fine. Shake a thing of whipped cream - not so much. We’ll see what a pull in the water does. I do have a plan for the mirror that involves setting in on folded towels so that if my arm fails, it won’t fall and break.

Good luck with that cabinet door. You might want to fill those current holes and let that caulking dry before you make the new holes.

Already done and hung, Shir. So glad to have the mirror back. I look a sight. I think I’ll redo the paint on the frame soon. It’s got some wear spots that could use a paint touch up.

I got a good belly laugh over Chance stealing your bra. Dogs will be dogs! 🤣🤣🤣 Glad you got the mirror door back on. Hope you were able to swim too. But I bet you got a good enough workout regardless.
