Journey2Normal's Journal, 05 February 2015

At the beginning of November, we took a trip to Montana. I planned on not watching what went in my mouth for just those four days. I also had not smoked a cigarette for 12 days before we left. I ended up smoking, drinking, and eating the whole weekend. It was not good, but I had positive thoughts about getting right back to where I was. That was three months ago. Since then, I have gained back over 20# and am back to smoking about a pack a day.

I started back on this yesterday and am really trying to conquer the mental sabotage that I do to myself all the time. I'm really going to focus on my feelings, moods, and actual hunger pangs.

I do not plan on weighing myself until April 1st. That way I will not get discouraged and will not become obsessed with a number. I'm more than a number and am doing this more for my health, rather than a number.
320.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 140.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.
gaining 1.2 lb a week

I feel for you! You can do this...one day at a time...sometimes one hour at a time! Atleast, that is how it is for me! Let's buddy up!

I know the feeling. I am going carb free as much as possable; started 3 days ago. I know that works. If I want something sweet I eat a apple or banana. Yes they have carbs, but they are good ones. Good luck, just keep at it and don't give up.
