pam326's Journal, 07 January 2015

The past two years really have been difficult with illness, but since March of this year, I went through 6 rounds of steroids, and gained back much of the weight I had lost. I have been up and down trying to lose the weight again, but starting a program now (21 day fix) that I'm hoping will help get me back on track! I have set my goal to lose 10 lbs per month for the next three months, and 5 lbs per month for the following six months, hopefully reaching my goal, in the next year at the latest!
218.0 lb Lost so far: 17.0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.6 lb a week

I just ordered it. I think it will work good for me. I don't eat bad foods, I have poor eating habits. I can go 24 hrs some times and not eat at all. I have very little appetite. Not eating can be as bad as over eating!! I have signed up under a friend of mine, and I tried one of the shakes. I'm not doing the shakes right now, but may plug them in here and there. Fortunately I can buy them individually from her. How long have you been doing it? How is it working for you?

I am on my second week. Wasn't as hard as I thought, but I have bad eating habits. I like everything bad! It is getting easier, but I am hungry a lot.

I am fortunate that way. I'm not a big fan of sweets, don't care much for fried food (except chicken wings...and that's far and few in between), and rarely eat fast food. I think I will do good with having the portions measured and being told what foods to what container. I'm really excited. My second hurdle will be making the time for the exercise. I am horrible about that. I have a very sporadic schedule every day, and it starts very early and ends very late. I'm selfish with my time in bed and push the envelope to get up any earlier than I have to, and by the time I'm home, I have little to no energy to do the things I have to do before bed. This will be my biggest challenge!

My days are also very long so I totally get what you are saying. Some mornings I leave the house at 630am and not home until 1130pm. It is so very hard, trying to get early to do it is so hard with little sleep, which we also need to be healthy.
