Down some more. My creatine should be arriving tomorrow, so...I'll start loading immediately. Will probably see at least a 5 pound gain in fluid weight, but it'll be worth it for the long term gains I'll get.

Probably closer to 1 to 2 lbs of water weight. I initially also thought it was far more, but I don't believe it was looking back. Drink at least a gallon of water a day. You'll be fine! The whole "loading" stage is also bs. You can just do 5 grams a day and be fully saturated in a month. "Loading" was widely known as a marketing move to obviously sell more product. One more thing if you've never tried Creatine before. I think it's 25% of people that first try it. Will actually not see any difference by using it.

I am aware that you can forego the loading phase. But the point of loading is to rapidly build your creatine stores over a few days instead of a few WEEKS. Once the stores are maximized, then you can reap the benefits. I am also aware that some people don't respond to creatine. But I've responded well to my EAA, so I have no reason to believe that I wouldn't respond well to creatine. In grade school I was teased because I was short, skinny, wore glasses. Then I grew 8 inches and put on weight, and the teasing stopped. But because of that, I never had the confidence to work out, develop my body, get strong. Now, finally, DECADES down the road, I am starting to realize that I have good potential. I've gotten stronger and broader. I just want to take advantage of what I have, see how far I can take this. Is that wrong to want more? Is it vain?

Moon - I wasn't knocking you my friend. Do whatever you want. Take all you want or none. I was just mentioning a few things that some people are unaware of with creatine. I've been on here a few years and generally offer nothing but support to most. You shouldn't be so quick to be overly sensitive. No one is attacking you or putting you in vain. Good luck to you moving forward! I won't bother you again.

Joe, I apologize. That's part of my issues, my self confidence has been so low, that I often don't take things right. I'm working on that, but I've a long road on that as well. But, rest assured, I did the research into the creatine. I'm new to lifting, so I'm trying to take advantage of my newbie gains, build on top of my natural potential.

No worries man... I wasn't far from where you started when I began my journey. Text on an app leaves some gray area sometimes. But all of my information was only sent to benefit you. I thought when I started I had gained 8 to 10 lbs of water weight. But people here like Diablo explained some of it to me. The last I saw is it's usually 2.5 to 4 lbs of water weight but either way. It's obviously different for everyone's bodies. Again good luck to you! This app is a place of mostly good people looking to help one another. The only people I give a hard time too are trolls.
