Not sure what is going on but I've gone up 2 lbs. but my clothes are fitting loser! Not gonna complain! Even my boss told me AGAIN this morning that I'm 'still losing weight'. Feels great to have someone notice and comment!
Hubby's birthday today. Debating on buying him a cake or Krispy Kreme donuts. lol My daughter woke up this morning, heard it was daddy's birthday, and came out into the kitchen, looked at me with big crocodile eyes and said 'mom...want some cake...' as if she was forgotten when the cake was served. LOL

If you are exercising a lot, it may be sore muscles retaining water to help them heal. It is temporary and goes away. Women do build muscle , but it takes time for that to happen. Exercise can also make us go down in sizes while we don't see much change on the scale. Loose clothing is another sign of weight loss success, so you are doing great.

Those two pounds are nothing but stay away from Krispy Kreme! Did you buy the juicer?

@information: No, didn't get the juicer...yet. It's on my 'WANT!' list, still. I'm a littler nervous about spending the money on the juicer as people tell me it's expensive to buy enough produce to keep up on it and it takes time to clean it. With working 'fasting' into my life, I see the juicer as a huge benefit, but am not quite there yet with spending the money. If I get one, I want the Juicer Elite that allows you to make almond and soy milk, as we don't drink regular cow's milk. Did go to Krispy Kreme for hubby's birthday, but only bought 3 donuts! Not a dozen or half dozen but enough for one donut each. lol Sunday is Cierra's birthday (3 yrs old) so have made cupcakes for the celebration. Figured that would be a good way to keep 'portions' under control. After her birthday, no sweets in the house! I plan to embark on a Daniel's fast after her birthday, to rid myself of sugar and caffeine addictions. =)

what is a daniels fast...

In a nutshell: it's a fast that comes from the bible. Daniel, the guy in the bible, set the example of this particular fast. Basically, you eat fruit, veggies, and legumes for a period of time (however long you choose but often times people will do this for 3, 21, or 40 days-spiritual significance). No meat, sweets or bread. I suppose you could call it a Vegan diet.

Oh! I like that Daniel Fast, thanks for mentioning it, it sounds nicely balanced too. I see several books, interesting. Who cares what you call it as long as it works. And, I always knew it, even the Bible at least implies that fasting is acceptable. I've now been totally absolved of any responsibility folks. ;-) Yesterday, I had to time to wander around Costco and ran right smack in to the Jack Lalanne Juicer which had a price tag of $89.95 (I don't know if that is the Juicer Elite though, Costco often carries close to the top end of those things so it probably was). The Champion is well known for it's ability to do seeds, nuts, etc. and it has a large and heavy moter. It also has it's cleaning issues, depending on what you are doing, and I'm not using it that much these days. Anyway, when I saw the Jack Lalanne, I went over and picked it up to estimate the size/weight of the motor; but, they had some display material attatched beneath it, that made it difficult to estimate. Though it did feel a bit light to me, Jack Lalanne sold these things for such a long time, and so many were sold, that I suspect it's a good product. Most people that go into healthy eating sooner or later will buy a juicer(s). I'm not so sure that you will use it that much after a time though so, you are probably right to just lie low on that for now.
