Blob way up, muscle way down. some stupid person went out walking last night wearing skechers slip-ons. without socks and ended up walking home barefoot and with blisters on the ankles. they're not bad because I took the shoes off, but that was an uncomfortable 3/4 of a mile home in bare feet. slip ons are great for around the house and socks are not required, but they are most definitely NOT walking shoes.

been watching webcam hurricane coverage. it's surreal when it's so many places I've been and know. finally had a full day without any tears yesterday. progress! the shepherds were feeling the cool weather and playing hard this morning. zoomies are a combination of cheetah speed and elephant mass. funny but hazardous.

going to do more veggies as soon as the last of the fruit is gone. I've been buying tons of fruit because it's so cheap, but what can you do? I did start a little hydroponic garden a couple of weeks ago, we'll see where that goes. baby kale, arugula and other greens. got tired of bags of cabbage.

some of the Halloween yards are looking good. no pics because I was holding leashes and my shoes. we'll try and do better this weekend. tonight is date night, so probably won't walk in the dark.

Misery is wearing inappropriate shoes,ouch! I used to know cool weather had arrived when I opened the drapes in the morning and saw Lucky dashing across the yard, smiling and wagging her tail. 🐕
