Grrrr. Scale.sucks.still.not.working. I'm just not going to play with it. Weekends are too short.

Late to the party this morning, just running around doing stuff. I did go outside and dump some fresh compost onto some of my plants already and fed the hummingbirds. Learned that Miss Shasta is deathly afraid of the "clicker" I was going to use to train Chance since he has a hard time focusing. I didn't realize she was literally terrified of it and was skulking off to the tub to hide and shake. Poor, sweet little thing. People suck. I guess we have another piece of her background.

This week I'm starting over on some stuff. Have a fridge full of fresh produce, cooked some more pork tenderloin last night, actually washed my face last night and got up this morning and put on some makeup along with my sunscreen. Decided I have to pull myself out of the void, even if by self-imposed force. Mascara is waterproof. Still prone to sudden outbursts of tears, albeit less frequent.

Pushing forward. really wish this humidity would go back out to sea. it's not hot hot, but movement results in sweat. We'll get back to walks and pics soon. Once I know I have recall, we're headed to the beach. That's where the wagon will come in for Sadie. That walk down to the water is hot loose sand and about 1/4 mile. It's easy going in, but it's super hard for her when we're done. it'll also let me carry enough fresh water for all three dogs.

Some throwback beach pics. Sadie having a blast, this is one of my favorite pictures of her ever. This is why we go. To let the crazies out. Maybe we'll sneak out in the evening sometime this week.

Such happy dogs! Sounds liked the wagon will be useful, plus you'll get a workout pulling it in the sand at the beach. Glad you're making an effort, but it's okay to mourn.
