PopsGirl's Journal, 13 August 2022

So I dropped three pounds. I started walking again in the house where it is cooler. The heat has been so hot and with this humidity just unreal. But I think stress of my husband having a heart attack and his coming bypass surgery may be helping me with really watching what I eat because I am trying to get him on a heart healthy all around good eating habit way of life. Not east trying make sure we get enough of the food groups at the right amount size and servings per day in the right amount of calorie range. I have looked on line and it is enough drive you crazy because everyone is saying something different. How about here do this and how much at each time. Ok and I am made because I have been telling my husband you can't consume that amount of alcohol and eat that much junk and not think it won't catch up to you. How do you tell a person honey you have a problem? Well I put it in God's hands. I just hope and pray that my husbands eyes are open and he understands that his choices have not been the best with food. Also I'm mad at all the doctors who praised him on oh you look so good for your age and you look so physically fit as I cringed because it was going straight to his head. He even told me see I am doing good. I can eat what I want in moderation. Don't get me on his definition of moderation. Ok so maybe a little stressed. So if you are reading take it serious on what you eat. I see some of the pictures on fatsecret of what some are eating and I say oh my do they see what they are eating or am I missing something? And with that we are what we eat...

Your hubby, if like mine, will need lots of loving care after heart surgery. Best to you both. I'm glad you lost weight and are taking care of yourself. You are sooooo good. God Bless
