for whatever reason, yesterday got completely away from me and I didn't make any time to exercise other than running around costco because I forgot to get dog food over the weekend and there was not even enough left to feed them dinner. got caught in traffic, yada yada and by the time I settled down, there was an accident on the carpet that had to be dealt with and then it was 11:30 and bed. thankfully, this gain is mostly water and should disappear in a day or so. might even disappear in a few hours if you get my drift. I can't imagine it was the salmon and I don't remember grabbing any samples at costco because I still don't trust people touching food with crowds around them. net result, I took a day off. the bump is more likely cumulative from all the pizza, pasta, whatever I ate over the last five days rather than salmon and a banana late at night. good thing I didn't get that key lime pie. I had made a bet with a friend as I left that I could get in and out and only buying the one thing I was there for. I bought two things, so I failed just a little, but life goes on.

huge undercurrents of stress in my life on multiple fronts right now. not whining, but acknowledging. another reason to make sure I don't forget to take the time to take care of my body. i think it just hit tsunami last night and I needed to take a minute and take a breath. I'm going to pick two things to complete for work today. will plan a break for some physical movement around lunchtime. my trip back east got cancelled which is a relief. nothing like a business trip smashed into fiscal year end insanity.

Everything is in his name only. I called one friend to just talk but she isn't available. I have no one.
