After this date I went on the low-carb diet, primarily in the form of low-sugar, but also avoiding breads, for the most part. For instance, I won't make myself a sandwich for lunch, but I will occasionally eat a burger or, if at a meeting, will eat a provided sandwich. I also do eat ravioli with my kids every now and then. My overriding intention is to keep the blood-sugar from spiking, rather than to rigidly avoid foods.
