I want to cry.

I know the feeling. But on the good side, it helps you be accountable and not be in denial. Now you can be positive and do something about it so you never have to see that number again. Find ways to motivate yourself. Get some fitness magazines and read them. Go to Pinterest.com and type in "fitness motivation or inspiration". Get some exercise videos you can do at home. "Walk Away The Pounds" by Leslie Sansone are a great way to start (your local library might have some or check out youtube for free videos. Start walking daily. Get a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day. Find a plan that is sustainable and you can live with. Baby steps. Change takes a lot of time. Don't put a time limit on yourself. Make small 3 pound goals and reward yourself with non food items when you reach a goal Now stop the pity party and get moving. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Suzi, I just now saw your comment and I want to tell you that I appreciate it! I've been making small changes to my way of eating and it's paying off slowly but surely. I'm hoping that in making small changes slowly, it'll truly become a lifestyle change and it'll be just a new way of living for me. I've already shed over 20 lbs and I'm really excited about it. At this point I'm not looking for a quick fix anymore. I'm looking for a new way of living and eating. A way to enjoy my cravings occasionally and over all eat in a much more healthy fashion. I'm now thinking about what I want to do to add some exercise to the mix. I want something that won't just be a temporary thing so I think I'm going to do as you, my mom, and everybody suggests and just start walking. It's easy, I don't have to buy anything and I can take both my dog and my daughter with me. Thanks again for the positive words. I hope you're doing great, too!! :D
