So wanted to throw myself into an emotional binge overnight after another "wonderful" encounter with my alcoholic husband (soon to be ex-husband) last night. Frustrated that he is not holding up his end of the deal when it comes to fixing up much needed home & car repairs before he leaves for good & the fact he makes no effort to fix his relationship with our daughters. I need to remember there is no point in talking to an emotionally abusive drunk! But I did not give into old bad habits & am proud of my progress after weighing in this morning :-) Pushing more organic foods & stepping up my workout this week. All the obstacles are worth working through for a better journey for me & my girls <3 next weigh in will be Labour Day wknd my goal is to finally be out of the 300's :-)
305.0 lb Lost so far: 55.0 lb.    Still to go: 145.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 10.5 lb a week

I dealt with same situation for years with alcoholic husband. I have lost 60 pounds plus whatever he weighed and still have 80 to go to my goal weight. Great days await you dear. Keep your chin up! You are a beautiful woman and deserve the VERY BEST in life. :) Good luck.

That is so awesome congrats kraftlady!!!!! Astounding! Reading everyone's stories is the remedy I needed to stay focused & driven. John you are absolutely right, when he leaves I'm seriously not going to miss the cold vibes, awful remarks & serving him hand & foot. For the first time ever I'm using this time to focus in on me & it feels liberating :-)
